Upon entering your unoccupied property, Tranquility Home Watch LLC. will conduct visual observations beginning with surface-level problems and scan for any possible property issues. After a consultation, we provide our clients with a specially-tailored check list for each visit. Promptly following each appointment, you will receive an online detailed electronic report and photographs of your property. Due to the implementation of live time stamps, our clients can distinguish when the Home Watch Professional enters their property.

Upon Arrival

o Exterior check of grounds, landscape, pests, lawn, and sprinklers
o Remove newspapers, flyers; check the mailbox
o Visual check of outdoor light fixtures
o Visual exterior check including roof (from the ground), screens, windows, AC units, fence
o Properly turning on of water
o Entering of home, disarming the security system
Interior Check

o Windows and doors check (for damage and ensure they are locked)
o Visual check for signs of water damage, microbial growth, and mildew
o Cycling of water: brush and flush toilets, run water in sinks (including garbage disposal), tubs, and showers
o Short cycle dishwasher and washer
o Water heater check (it should be turned OFF at the circuit breaker or on Vacation Mode when the water main is OFF. If there is a Recirculation Pump, that should be OFF. The procedure varies equipment type)
o Inspection for signs of insects, pests, and rodents
o Check closets, pantry, and storage cabinets
o Verify AC and humidistat settings; adjust as necessary
o Assurance of proper temperature and operation for refrigerator, freezers, and wine coolers
o Resetting of clocks after a power outage
o Circuit breaker panel check
o Garage Check (trash removal and ensuring garage door is locked)
